Galati is a Canadian cheese manufacturer founded in 1967 in Windsor, Ontario by Italian immigrants drawn to Canada in search of a better life.
First the Mannina family, then the Galati family took pride in making traditional Italian cheeses, offering Windsor’s burgeoning Italian community a taste of home.
Over the years, we’ve retained our traditional production methods to offer you our hand-scooped ricotta that is creamy and not grainy, a stretchy mozzarella that is full of flavour, or our specialty varieties like our hand-braided twist cheese or our scamorza, caciocavallo and zoncolan that are aged on-site.
We marry our amazing cheese with unmatched customer service. At Galati, your small business will not be treated like a number. We pride ourselves in personalized attention from our drivers to our customer service team. If you are beyond our local delivery footprint, we have relationships with trusted distributors that can get our cheese and other important ingredients and supplies to your restaurant door.
